Professionally linked to musical theater since he was 18, he has worked in different fields. He is the Artistic Director of ONYRIC, the new Focus Group project based in the Teatre Condal in Barcelona, which he inaugurated as director and actor with the Catalan version of Fun Home, in September 2018 in Barcelona produced by No Day But Today. He is currently Casting Director of LetsGo (The Addams Family, Dirty Dancing and The Young Frankenstein) and director of the Aules School. As Artistic Producer he prepares the premiere of Broadway A Cappella (Teatre Condal, 2018), El Temps Que No Tindrem (Maldà, 2019) and Pornopop (Versus Glories, 2019).
Looking back, we can highlight the following projects.
As an interpreter, the characters of Mark Cohen in Rent (director M. Greif / A. Epstein), Gringoire in Notre Dame de Paris (director W. Fowkes), the protagonist of Hedwig & The Angry Inch (director Abby Epstein) stand out ), Charley in Merrily We Roll Along, Jaime in The Last Five Years (starring Julie Atherton) and the following EM + P shows, which he has also directed: You, Jo, Ell, She ... i Webber ... i Schönberg ... , The somni of Mozart, Desert Blanc, A copés ... a mica of music, Jugant a Rodgers and Off Broadway. In 2013 he premiered the Lluny Broadway concert at the Auditori de Barcelona. In 2015 he premiered the intimate concert Cançons Inesperades (Maldà / Teatre Goya / Gira). He has released the album Punto de Rocío, which has been presented live the last two years, and the singles Quan M'escoltes and Un Possible Single.
He has directed, created and produced artistic works in all the shows of the independent company EL MUSICAL MÉS PETIT since its creation, in 1996, with which he has won 5 Butaca Awards and 1 Sebastià Gasch Prize. With it he continues to produce his most personal and risky bets. THE MUSICAL MÉS PETIT 2 is the second company, specializing in shows for family audiences. His musical version of Hansel and Gretel, written together with Ferran González, is in its fifth season at the Nuevo Teatro Alcalá in Madrid.
He is the artistic director of the producer No Day But Today, with which he has directed the musical Rent (2016), a new winning production of 4 BroadwayWorld Awards and a Musical Theater Award. He has also directed Carousel En Concert (Teatre Grec 2018), Bare (2014), winner of the Barcelona Critics Award for Best Musical, Hair, premiered at the Apolo Theater in Barcelona (2010) and the Coliseum in Madrid (2011) and Acústic Broadway (Maldà, 2015). He is the artistic producer of Per Si No Ens Tornem A Veure (Maldà, 2017), Tot El Que No Ens Vam Dir (Maldà, 2018), L'Illa Del Tresor (Teatre Regina, 2018), Un Cau De Mil Secrets (La Pedrera ) and Vintage (Versus Teatre). He has been Director of Cásting of many large format musicals in Madrid and Barcelona and Resident Director of Rent (Madrid), Gaudí, Bagdad Café, La Bella and Béstia (Barcelona and Tour), Mamma Mia! (Barcelona, Madrid and Tour) and Los Miserables (Liceo de Barcelona and Tour). He has been Associate Director of La Belle et la Bête in Paris. He has directed different concerts, including the Gala Stage - 15 years at the Lope de Vega in Madrid, the Scott Alan concert; Barcelona & Friends at the Auditori de Barcelona, the Participative Musical Grandes Éxitos, the Nit de Musicals 2017 at the Teatre Grec; and those of vocal groups such as DeuDeVeu (including that of the seu farewell in the TNC), Jarks (presentation in Razmatazz), Amarcord and Quartet Melt (within the cycle Veus Pedrera Endins of La Pedrera). Barcelona & Friends at the Auditori de Barcelona, the Participative Musical Grandes Éxitos, the Nit de Musicals 2017 at the Teatre Grec; and those of vocal groups such as DeuDeVeu (including that of the seu farewell in the TNC), Jarks (presentation in Razmatazz), Amarcord and Quartet Melt (within the cycle Veus Pedrera Endins of La Pedrera). He has doubled, among others, the character of Quasimodo in the songs of the Catalan version of the film The Hunchback of Notre Dame, by Walt Disney, and Miguel in the songs of the Catalan and Spanish versions of the film The Road to the Dorado, from Dreamworks. He is the director of dubbing songs from different series and animated films such as Pokémon or Super-nenas.
He has adapted text and lyrics to Spanish and Catalan for different films, series, television programs and shows. And he has directed and presented different radio programs, collaborating on stations such as Catalunya Ràdio, RAC1 or RNE. He was deputy director and coach of the Operación Triunfo Academy 2011 and member of the jury of the television program Oh Happy Day (TV3) in the third and fourth season (2015 - 2017).
In 2003 he founded the school AULES - Performing Arts of Barcelona, of which he is the director. Here he trains future interpreters of Musical Theater, and teaches singing and vocal training, specializing in Estill Voice Training.
