Feldberg was formed in January 2009 by Eberg (Einar Tönsberg) and Rósa Birgitta Ísfeld. Eberg had been working on some syncs and was looking for a female vocalist. Rósa Birgitta Ísfeld was recommended by a friend and as soon as they had recorded their first thing they both knew they would have to keep on working together. They decided to meet every Tuesday night for a couple of months and put some songs together. One of their songs was used for an ad for Nova Telecom Company and soon the pressure to release the song as a single became enormous. Cod Music contacted them and offered to release their music in Iceland. “Don''t Be A Stranger” became an instant radio hit and was released on a couple of compilation albums.

Feldberg has now finished recording their first album. It will be released in Iceland in October 2009 by Cod Music.
