G-Sten, the former artist name of Åge Sten Nilsen, is now very much known as Glam, the singer in Wig Wam.
G-Sten released an self-titled album in 2000. The album included ten songs; Surburban Sky, What Elvis Couldn't Buy, My True Colours, Bright Lights On, Television Star, Rebecca, Will You Be Trhere, Moon's Ray, Supernutcase Everafter and Wolf & Butterfly. This album sold somewhere around 500 copies.
In -98 G-Sten co.worked with the song writer Kyrre Fritzner and they made the song Always Will which G-Sten participated in the Norwegian ESC with. He got top points from the judges, but ended up third, only beaten by Lars Fredriksen (All I Ever Wanted Was You) and Elisabeth Andreasson (Winds Of The Northern Sea).
Because of the success with the rock band Wig Wam, g-sten vanished, but in the fall of 2006 Åge Sten Nilsen awakened as a solo artist and relansed the album, calling it Wolf & Butterfly.. The album now included one more song, called Don't Feed The Broken Hearted. The album has reached the charts, as Åge through the years has grown as an artist. But Åge's old ego g-sten is dead.
