The Scratchophone Orchestra is an original formation, the fruit of the meeting and experience of four musicians.
In the last ten years, Clément Royo (Machines, Programming, Percussions, Guitar), Aurélien Mourocq (clarinet, vocals), Armand Delaval (electric double bass) and Gabriel Bonnin (violin / programming) have traveled France and abroad, (Swing Thieves, Gypsy Nymphs, Martine on the Beach, Gipsy Jukebox, Eldorado, Fingers in the Swing)
With the maturity gained over time, they decided to design the Scratchophone Orchestra, merging swing and current music.
They compose a refined electro-swing where the voice of Aurelian tinged of a pop color skilfully mixes to the vocal samples of legendary jazz singers.
In the same quest for balance, the clarinet and violin mingle with the old sounds of the orchestras News Orleans of the thirties.
It is live that the group takes full scope with a set dusted with scratch and rhythmic beats with the production neat. The dancefloor is put to the test throughout the show!
