Johnny Warman grew up through probably the greatest musical era of Popular Music the World has ever seen from 1964 – 1970. The Beatles first hooked him in 1962, Johnny later would play and write and record with Ringo Starr. The Stones grabbed him in 1964, at that time the biggest question you had to answer was Mods or Rockers? Johnny chose Mods as he loved The Who. Johnny would eventually make albums for Ringo and Elton John with his own material, have hits in USA, Australia and Europe. He then worked with Ringo, Peter Gabriel, Asia, Starship, Cheap Trick, Mickie Most and Elaine Paige.
Johnny Warman’s Mods and Rockers Show is a musical trip through those great years 1964 – 1970 that inspired him to become a successful musician and a chance to play the songs of that era as if he had written them himself. He plays with pure passion and is backed by World Class Musicians. His desire is to help keep these great songs alive and hopefully inspire younger fans of this music along the way.
