The Ludmila Zykina State Academic Folk Orchestra “Rossiya” is one of the country’s most outstanding music companies, which represents the art of Russian song and the professional art of playing Russian folk instruments not only in Russia but the world over. The inspiration behind the Orchestra is the great Russian singer, People's Artist of the USSR, Ludmila Zykina.

The art director and principal conductor of the Ludmila Zykina State Academic Folk Orchestra “Rossiya” is one of the most famous bayan players of Russia Dmitry Dmitrienko.
Together with the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ensemble organizes significant concert programmes and festivals in honor of outstanding Russian artists, cooperates with well-known composers, performers, artists, social and international organizations. The Orchestra is state leading performing-on-tour music groups, representing Russian musical culture on an international level.
The Orchestra’s repertory is varied, ranging from unique transcriptions of classical instrumental pieces by Russian and foreign composers to folk music and works by contemporary composers, including some written by the Orchestra 's musicians.
