Distiller started in the mind of a man named Sam in 2010, a musician himself, who wanted an outlet to release his music the way he wanted to without having to go down the conventional route. Why wait for a label when he could start his own?

Fast forward two years and Distiller is now a fiercely independent record label and music publishing company, recording studio and online TV channel.

A bespoke music family, if you like, with a ‘hands-on’ approach. At the heart of Distiller is the close relationship between the artist and label. We partner with artists every step of the way in order to help develop them and grow them so that they can sustain a living while continuing to bring music to their fans. We only work with artists that inspire us and people who are as passionate about our artists as we are. From the artists we sign, to their managers, PR companies and everyone else involved with our artists, not to mention the guys who flog our shirts at the end of the night or the guys who rescue our acts off the M1 after their van breaks down for the umpteenth time, everyone we work with strives really hard to make, distribute and promote the great music that these guys make.

As a result of all this, Disitller has spawned a West Country recording studio, built purely for our roster to use as they please and create inspiring music.
