The Dead Fronts are London based band, playing uniquely awkward pop rock peppered with something decidedly darker.

Spending long days and nights locked away in their studio (The Ivory Gutter), they come gig-ready and with an arsenal of catchy and imposing songs.

Having met at university in London, the distinctly Northern trio of Gaz, Jordan and Russell emerged from the still warm ashes of previous bands and musical projects to find their feet with an unusual briskness.

The signing of final puzzle pieces Muz and Stu (during an otherwise quiet transfer window) have gone some way to make up a five piece of rare warmth and bite.

Though inspired musically by the heavy sounds of Nirvana and Queens of The Stone Age, The Dead Fronts' signature is their use of three distinctive vocals, to create textured harmonies that cushion the forceful blow of their guitar parts.

Savvy to, but not disheartened by, the formula and subsequent lifespan most bands fall foul of, The Dead Fronts are creeping forward stealthily, with real traction and integrity.

The lads have come to realise that by sticking to their principles, and playing to their unusual but unquestionable strengths, they have become that band which they aspired to be.
