Named after an 18th Century oil painting, this all-girl trio (consisting of the enigmatically named C-Bird, D-Bird and X-Bird) from London play lo-fi tribal grunge rock. They have been compared with Sonic Youth, The Jesus And Mary Chain, The Ronettes, The Bad Seeds and The Shangri-Las. D-Bird (Dee Sada) is now a member of Blue on Blue.
