Electric Indigo, DJ and musician, has rocked clubs and festivals in 35 countries. Her name stands for an intelligent interpretation of the terms techno and party. She started her DJ career in 1989 in Vienna and lived in Berlin for three years (1993-1996) to work at the legendary Hard Wax record store. In 1998 she created female:pressure, an international database for female DJs, producers, and visual artists in the fields of electronic music and club culture. From 2002 until 2008 she was resident DJ at the Viennese Flex club. 2002 she began to collaborate with musicians like Mia Zabelka, Dorit Chrysler, Pia Palme to perform new electronic experimental music. 2003 Electric Indigo started her own record label indigo:inc recordings. Since 2006 she also plays solo live gigs in clubs. 2007/2008 she produced the female:pressure dvd1. 2008 Electric Indigo and irradiation started their joint live project. Her recordings were released on lables like Disko B, Mueller, International Deejay Gigolos, indigo:inc, chicks on speed records, female:pressure.
She presents an indigo:inc radio show at play.fm every first tuesday in the month.
