His music career started in 1975 as a charter-member of the group EAST (composer-guitarist). As a composer, he took part in the creating of several music publications (East disks, Crack Orchestra), wrote ballet music (The Victim). The german Sonoton Music Library is still maintaining (attending) his composer-disk (Into The Light), issued with an international group together a publication with common purchases (Energy Project).

He participated as a member or as a guest in musical pick-ups (HBB disks, Meeting Point.). Made numerous headline-music as well. On the request os Tamas Aradi (producer, camera-man) created several music for commercials. Two of them won an Oscar in the USA, in the catergory commercials (Globex Holding, Prevent). Some of his works are the following CDs; The Wing of revelation I (2000), The Wing of revelation II (2002), and the recently figured Janos Varga Project; The Wing of revelation Live DVD.
From the spring he is with two other bands on tour: The Mediterran Combo is a temperamental viruoso latin trio, with the acoustic instruments are toned. Beside theri own compositions, they play the songs from world-famous guitarists, like Al Di Meola, Paco de Lucia, John Mc Laughilin, as well. The VJ-Gooveland is a pleasant lounge, modern electric music fuzed with a smooth jazz. Engenders a Cafe del Mar mood. Janos Varga founded/established the first "Zig-Zag Company" eight years ago. His partners are Attila Gidófalvy and Tibor Donászy, famous hungarian musicians.
To the texas-boogie sound he invited a great vocalist Laszlo "Kyru" Radovics, who is also playing on the bass. At the drums is Miklos Tisza. The keel of the repertoire frame the best songs from ZZ-Top, completed with their own music, rock-standards like "Wild Things", "American Woman", "Radar love" and many more from Purple-, Zeppelin-, and GNR. They played before URIAH HEEP at the Harley Davidson Festival with such a success, that tey had been invited to the HEEP tour at that autumn.
