Attila Laszlo has been the teacher of Music Academy Ferenc Liszt and the conductor of the grand orchestra since 1987. In 1997 he received the Artisjus award for best composer of the year. He won the Gábor Szabó Award and became the president of Hungarian Jazz Association in 1999. A year later he received the Weiner Leó Award as the best music pedagogue. He founded László Attila Band in 1992. The first disc was published three years later called The Only One, the latest in 2000 with the title Smart Kid. The album contains easytolisten, genuine jazz tunes composed and arranged by Attila.
