The first Qstock festival was celebrated in 2003. The small-scale event attracted over 7,000 visitors instead of the expected 3,000. During the next three years, the event attracted some 20,000 visitors every year.

Now Qstock has been sold out for six consecutive years, and has established itself as one of Finland's largest festivals. Last year, the event attracted 35,000 festivals over two days.
