Deidra Jones
Has come a long way from singing in front of a bathroom mirror as a little girl. Her dream of becoming an accomplished vocalist and entertainer has taken her around the world, giving her the privilege share the stage and her talent with some of the industry’s top artists. Her musical background is one that is vast at best. From singing gospel in church choirs, to performing in school honor choirs, theatrical productions, talent shows, playing trumpet, and studio sessions- all before the age of fifteen- makes it easy to understand why she is such an incredible talent.

She came to Germany on tour with The Golden Gospel Singers. Deciding to stay in Germany to persue her career, she then went on to perform in the theatrical production of “The Life Story of Mahalia Jackson” a legendary gospel pioneer, and sing with the Jackson Singers. As she became more recognized for her ability to sing background as well as lead vocals, she went on to tour and work with many great artists such as Micheal Jackson, La Bouche in 1997 on the Dance Across America tour, Lou Bega, Melanie Thornton, Randy Crawford. Deidra opened for Sir Elton John, and was the voice for the 1999 advertisement of Davidoff’s Good Life perfume. She has also been featured with dance acts such as Tiefschwarz, drum and bass artists Fauna Flash and with the project M-Xpress with a remake of La Bouche’s smash hit ‘Sweet Dreams’. This title was the used by RTL television for Germany’s the 90’s Pop Years show . To add to her list of credits, Deidra also released her self titled single ‘Alive’ in 2000.

Deidra Jones has a voice that simply comes from her soul and touches your heart. She truly is a lady of soul.
