Little Nikita is the brainchild of the Rigarlsford brothers, Phil and Marc.

They formed the first small beginnings of a band at the age of 14, and in the years that followed, additional members came and went in a bizarre series of weddings, funerals and institutionalisation. One such previous member of the band, an ex-bass player, was soon to pass the torch onto his sister, who would form one quarter of the current band line-up.

At the start of 2002, Caz dropped out of University and became Little Nikita's new Bass Player - also lending her vocals to the music and infusing her own personal passions of guitar thrashing.
Marc takes up his usual position on drums, drawing influences from Queen and The
Beach Boys, and appointing himself as the undisputed solid force. Brother Phil then takes lead guitar and lead vocals along with the composition writing.

He compares the music to a bastard son of The Beach-Boys and The Beatles, who
were each beaten to a bloody pulp by Slade and Nirvana, before finally conceiving the embryo of Little Nikita itself.

The end result is a mesmerising combination of vocal harmonies, with all four
band members adding vocals, and some catchy and infectious power pop. It's punky, it's fresh, and it's tuneful. The music teases between calm and aggression and is set to throw a few fire works in to the pop world.
