Mark Vallance is a very exciting young r&b / pop artist and songwriter from Bournville in Birmingham. His family background is unique with a grandfather who restored the Queen's paintings, a grandmother who was a Coca Cola Calendar Girl in the 1950's, and a father, Colin Vallance, who played bass for Chris De Burgh. His younger brother Peter has signed up to play for Bristol Rovers Junior Football Team. At the age of 11 Mark joined an inter-schools modern gospel troupe performing around the country.Whilst still very young he became a unicycle champion, and after successfully completing a Performing Arts course, spent some time in America where he taught music and drama at Camp America to summer camp kids. Mark is a major priority artist at Sanctuary Artist Management. Discovered by Phil Pickett (founder of Sailor, member of Culture Club and writer of "Karma Chameleon") he has spent the last eighteen months writing and recording with Phil and his writing/production partner, Pete Lincoln. He has worked with the famous hit-making teams at Murlyn studios in Sweden, and most recently with top record producer Dennis Charles. With Mark's singing and song writing abilities, plus sheer dedication and determination to succeed, it's really only a matter of time before Mark becomes a major international star.
