1 The Wild Ones were an American rock band from New York City. They are perhaps best known for recording the first version of Chip Taylor's song "Wild Thing", which would later be a smash hit for The Troggs. Their version of "Wild Thing" was produced by Gerry Granahan. Their 1965 album The Arthur Sound hit #149 on the US Billboard 200

3 The Wild Ones from Richmond, VA released a 45 on Tu-Lang Records in 1965, with two original songs, Listen To The Drums and flip side Baby I Love You. They were a popular band in the Central Virginia region playing gigs at clubs, dances/proms and many types of venues.
