Port Friendly
Other performers
Although it has frequently been put in doubt - Port Friendly exists. The band just doesn't grace the world with that many albums, that's all. This means that since the 1996 debut, "Welcome to Port Friendly", the only other releases are the slow burning "Lordship Lane" (1999) and the somewhat more up-beat "Heading for the Sun" (2003). As for paraphernalia, there is the 7" "Take me to Paris"; a cover of 18th Dye's "Mystics II" to be found on "Left - 18th Dye". There is also a track, "Talisker", to be found on a compilation from the English fanzine "Comes with a Smile". A new album may see the light of day by the end of 2007.
The music is quite often quiet and only sometimes loud. Port Friendly is greatly indebted to the singer/songwriter tradition. They seem to be at ease with the idea of not changing the future of music and tend focus on the quality of the songwriting instead.
Band members are: Peter Neergaard Henrichsen (vocals, guitar, drums, piano, marine band); Sebastian Høeg Gulmann (Vocals, Guitar, bass); Martin Krogh (bass).
