MOJO CLUB - DANCEFLOOR JAZZ

In 1989 the word about "dancefloor jazz" spread for the first time. Meanwhile Mojo Club, situated in Hamburg at Reeperbahn 1 since 1991, is a classic in the German club scene. Mojo gained massive respect throughout the years, German MTV voted for the venue as "best club" in 1999. Oliver Korthals, head of the Mojo resident DJ team "Original Jazz Rockers" was there from the beginning, mixing jazz with percussive breaks, influences from brazilian and latin american music as well as soul and folk.
