DIFFERENT DRUMMER SOUNDSYSTEM

Suited to today's musical diversity and cross-pollination of styles as well as apporaching their 60th release Different Drummer were never destined to be a "here today, gone tomorrow" label. Launched in 1992 by Rockers Hi Fi founders Richard "Dick" Whittingham and Glyn Bush and the Different Drummer Soundsystem now is a collective of DJs, musicians and vocalists travelling the world and releasing tracks in verious disguises. The musical agenda is based around the "Leftfoot" club night in Birmingham and the collective now consists of DJs Dick and Adam Regan, vocalists Farda P and Tweed of Rockers Hi Fi fame plus Frankie Valley on effects, samples and percussion.
