Trans Europa Express was comprised of: Mauro Lusini, songwriter - singer and author of the famous Gianni Morandi song "C'era un ragazzo che come me" and also the lead singer on Goblin's album "Volo"; Gianfranco Coletta, guitarist, who was part of the psychedelic group 'Chetro & Co' and of the first formation of the Banco del mutuo soccorso band; Glauco Borrelli had been the bassist of the Albero motore band and Adrian Monteduro, guitarist, who recorded his first album as songwriter-singer accompanied by the Reale accademia di musica band.
The soundtrack to the 1977 film 'Il gatto dagli occhi di giada' (Watch Me When I Kill) by Antonio Bido is the only recorded work by the group. Musically their style is close to Goblin, with rock and progressive influences. It was only issued on CD in 2006.
