The Telemark International Folk Festival – Bø in Telemark, NORWAY

The annual Telemark International Folk Festival presents authentic folk music from various parts of the world – in which Norwegian folk musicians meet leading performers from abroad. On a solid base of Nordic and Norwegian folk traditions, the festival creates an enjoyable and intimate atmosphere, where traditional dance and music meet new and experimental expressions. The festival has become an important arena for the renewing of folk music. We offer more than 20 concerts and performances, various workshops and classes, exhibitions, dances and clubs. The festival also offers special concerts and workshops for families and children.
