Luboyna

Among the mass of brass bands plying their trade in the Balkans and beyond is one that needs no accolades from the Guča festival. Keen to move with the times, this ensemble make the traditional contemporary, a move that is as likely to satisfy the nostalgic purists as the more demanding younger audience. The magnificent surroundings of Tartini Square in Piran will come alive with the singular sounds of Macedonia and the to-and- fro of love and struggle, all expertly marshalled by the charismatic figure of Vera Miloševska.
