person About Labana
"LABANA" - When ROCK meets CUBA
LABANA delights with energetic "Cuban-style" rock songs, where classic rock melts with typical Cuban
percussion sounds, pop & blues. The combination of different rhythms and stylistic elements with the
Cuban roots of the band leader creates a new, refreshing style of music - "LABANA style".
Band founder and lead guitarist Dany "LABANA" Martinez was born in the music melting pot Havana.
From a young age, music has been his passion and he quickly became one of Cuba's most talented
electric guitarists. Many of his artist colleagues also call him "The Cuban Jimi Hendrix".
