Jessie Buckley (born in Killarney on 28 December 1989) is an Irish actress and singer. She sang the songs on the soundtrack of the 2018 British musical drama film "Wild Rose". In 2022, the album "For All Our Days That Tear the Heart" was released by Jessie Buckley & Bernard Butler.

Buckley competed in BBC's 'I'd Do Anything' 2008 talent show centred on the search for a new unknown lead to play Nancy in the 2009 West End revival of the British musical "Oliver!". She came second in the competition (which was won by Jodie Prenger).

She subsequently joined the cast of 'A Little Night Music', initially playing in the Menier Chocolate Factory in London's Southwark. The Sondheim musical subsequently transferred to the Garrick Theatre in London's West End for a short run in 2009.

For her roles as Rose-Lynn Harlan in "Wild Rose" (2018), she received a nomination for the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
