Andrej Malogajski joins Mainland Music
Andrej Malogajski, the booker of Swiss festivals like Openair Frauenfeld, Gurtenfestival, Openair Lumnezia, and Lakelive Festival, has been hired by Mainland Music, the Swiss concert promoter that was acquired by Live Nation in 2018.

Malogajski comes to Mainland Music from Pleasure Productions, where he has worked since 2008, primarily booking Openair Frauenfeld, one of Europe`s largest hip hop festival.

He`s also been in charge of international booking for Openair Lumnezia since 2017, and Lakelive Festival in Biel/Bienne since 2018. Since 2019, he`s also been a part of the Gurtenfestival, where he`s mostly in charge of headliners and co-headliners.

Beginning August 1, he`ll be doing the same duties for Mainland Music.

"After his change, Pleasure Productions and Mainland Music will remain connected on a business and friendly basis. A cooperation with Openair Frauenfeld - outside of booking - will remain in place for Pleasure Productions in the form of a mandate," the announcement states.

Mainland Music, by its own admission, is one of Switzerland`s leading promoters of the rock/pop/hip hop genres, putting on 650 shows a year in venues ranging from intimate clubs to stadiums and open-air festivals. In addition, the firm is in charge of Openair Gampel and Openair Gränichen`s international bookings.

Christian Gremelmayr, Derrick Thomson, and Santosh Aerthott lead Mainland Music, which was formed in 2021. Zurich is the company`s headquarters.
