The Interactive Festival Forum ready for kick off
According to the organizers, the virtual edition of iFF that kicks off tomorrow morning, will welcome over 500 of the world’s leading festival organisers and booking agents.

The annual event, which takes place as the renamed Interactive Festival Forum this year in light of the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, also features 65 guest speakers and performances from 30 emerging artists during six hours of agency livestreams.

The iFF conference programme includes a keynote interview with former WME head of music Marc Geiger, in conversation with Goldman Sachs’ Lisa Yang.

Companies participating in sessions include Glastonbury, Primavera, CAA, Festival Republic, AEG, Live Nation, Paradigm, Roskilde, WME and many more.

Topics in the programme include ticket prices & artist fees, force majeure & refunds, virtual festivals, the lost year of artist development, corporate upheaval, sustainability, risk, insurance, and more.

“This year’s edition has the strongest line up of speakers and sessions of any IFF,” says conference co-founder Ruud Berends (pictured). “And with networking and deal-making such a key focus of the new virtual format, it’s going to be an extremely productive moment for the festival business to come together.”

Alongside the two-day conference programme, iFF features a series of hour-long livestreams of performances from upcoming artists, curated and presented by Paradigm, Primary Talent International, UTA, X-ray Touring, Solo Agency & ITB. Several of the agencies are also hosting Networking Lounges during the event.

Supporters of this year’s event include streaming platform LiveFrom Events, the Department for International Trade which is supporting networking at iFF, and spatial intelligence experts Meshh.

Tickets are still available and can be bought during iFF.
